how to use remote server tcp/ip 连接中的interpretor DCOM(50分)

１：where is that special dcom?
2:Is there more info about the usage of it
in the dev-guide of D4 released by borland?
3:I noted that every sample of midas using DCOM to connect
client and appserver ,does it mean tcp/ip connect is not
so good?

1.I wander what's ur meaning, in fact, when u use tcp/ip as ur
connection mathod for midas, it would similate DCOM, in fact even if
u use CORBRA, it should similate DCOM, too;
2.Perhaps u could find the public mathod for provide packets in d4(in
d 3 it's private), if it's nessary, u could customize it. //do not
ask me how, i cannot
3.No, u could not make sure if the client PC has DCOM installed,
because in win95 DCOM is not installed by default. even in win98 u
should set user level security to enable DCOM, so when u could not
make sure what's on ur client's PC, for example ur program is work as
an ActiveForm on internet or intranet, socket is a good solusion.
notes: for question 1 and 2, u could read delphi 4 unleashed for more
information, I strongly recommanded this book.
