[menu]->component->install component
if that component had been made a *.dpk, you can to open this dpk file,
and install it.

如果没有使用手册之类的文件，又没有源程序，
一般我是不用的，
如果非要用，想知道其属性及方法，
可以这样：
var
test:TunknownVCL;
然后：
test.
注意，键入点后，IDE就会把TunknownVCL的所有属性及方法包括事件都列出来，
然后自己去看吧。
然后再试吧。

一般 vcl都有help提供, 包括怎么安装, 大部分都是用dpk来安装, 也有的用add dcu,
pas的方式安装, 还是先看看书好

推荐一个用于Test Component 的辅助工具 （来自Delphi/C++Builder论坛 AWater大虾）
>作为一个程序员，肯定免不了要调试程序，学习别人的例子，
但面对网上那浩如烟海的免费资源，有时的确也很烦恼.当
回来十几个Demo，解开Zip包一看都是Source,没有编译好的
可执行文件，想运行一下看看效果，就只好再打开Delphi
开发环境，有时真的很不方便.
现在好了，有了Quick Delphi Project Compiler,一切都应
刃而解.这个小东东是我无意中在网上发现的，虽然只是1.0
版本，但经过我的使用觉的非常稳定，其是就一个DCC32.exe
Shell.从D3-D5全部OK，从Pas->Dcu,dpj->exe,dpk->dpl等等，
凡是过去要亲自打开Delphi环境后才能办的事，现在就象用
WINZIP压缩文件一样，变的非常简单方便.只要用鼠标右键
就都可以完成了.
这么好的小东东怎么可以不推荐给大家呢？
