如何申请支付网关(但不知国内怎样):
I am looking to set up a Merchant Account and Payment Gateway for credit card processing. I am deciding between Verisign Payflow Link / Pro, Authorize.Net, and LinkPoint.
Does anyone have experience with these 3 gateway providers? Can you share your experiences as well as advantages and disadvantages of the different providers?
I am also looking to set up a merchant account. There are so many merchant account providers out there. Howdo
you deteremine the quality of the merchant account provider (ie. bank vs. private company)??? Any suggestions or recommendations would be appreciated.
REQUIREMENTS:
1) good pricing
2) easy to set up
3) ability to track credit card purchases by customer name and credit card number (inc. expiry date) ***
4) ability to manually charge credit cards online - I need to be able todo
recurring billing manually. ***
Thank you.

Oddly, I have experience with all three. My experience has been:
CardService Intl/Linkpoint: reliable, but I'm not a big fan of their Web terminal - perhaps itdo
es too much and finding the right menu is difficult. But Ido
n't usually need to use the Web terminal, so no biggy.
Verisign Payflow Pro: very reliable and fast. Well-known brand. Easy to use Web terminal.
Authorize.net: my first gateway, and liked it. then
suddently last summer, something went awry: Miva Merchant (the system I was using) was having problems communicating with Authorize.net, resulting in all sorts of nightmares (duplicate orders, successful authorizations but no orders, etc). Miva Corp. and Authorize.net pointed fingers for months, and seemingly couldn't get it resolved. One thing's for sure: the problems started immediately after an Authorize.net system upgrade.
I had to dismiss Authorize.net and switch to Payflow Pro. One thing I liked especially about A.net is the payment confirmation emails, which let me see AVS data as soon as an order was made. With Payflow Pro, I have to manually go to the Web terminal to check.
