关于Sybase For Linux 安装过程中的问题(100分)

在安装过程中出现了
Your sybase home directory is opt/sybase-11.9.2 check the environment
variable sybase if it is not the one you want ! using locale name
"en_US" defined in enviroment variable LC_ALL Locale name "en_US"
doesn't exist in your /opt/sybase-11.9.2/locales/locales.dat file
Could not allocate context structure in syb_file_date_buffer()
后来在
1.configure an existing Sybase server
中没有可以选择的项目
请高手指教.

你使用什么办法安装的？RPM?
为什么不在那个论坛提问？（或者是正在问？）

呵呵，安装oracle就更麻烦了。

为何没人答我的问题。我的安装次序没有错。

只好再找个更详细的说明，（由于我手边上没有linux），
还不行我就没办法了：

# login as root (ALL)
# install c-shell if you are using Redhat 6.0 (ALL)
rpm -hiv sybase-common-11.9.2-1.i386.rpm (ALL)
rpm -hiv sybase-ase-11.9.2-1.i386.rpm (ALL)
rpm -hiv sybase-doc-11.9.2-1.i386.rpm (ALL)
rpm -hiv sybase-monserver-11.9.2-1.i386.rpm (OPTIONAL)
rpm -hiv sybase-sqlremote-6.0.2-1.i386.rpm (OPTIONAL)
rpm -hiv sybase-openclient-11.1.1-1.i386.rpm (OPTIONAL)
rpm -hiv sybase-chinese-11.9.2-1.i386.rpm (OPTIONAL)
# run /path/to/SYBASE/install/sybinstall.sh (ALL)
# run "passwd sybase" to change password for user "sybase" (OPTIONAL)
# logout from root (ALL)
# login to sybase (ALL)
# ( C-Shell: ) run "source .cshrc" or ( B-Shell: ) run ". .profile" (ALL)
startx (ALL)
# run srvbuild to build databases (ALL)
# don't forget to "setup" your sybase service and reboot (ALL)

你的这个问题可能是语言的原因。你是不是在用蓝点或其它中文版本的Linux?
此时系统的语言为：zh_CN， 你只需要修改/opt/sybase-11.9.2/locales/locales.dat
中的内容，加入相应的语言就可以了。
